Whilst not all of the leaders began as dictators, they eventually had full power in their countries. Understanding their motives behind them is important.

After months of Germany aggression throughout Europe war was finally declared on the 3rd of September 1939. However, the Allies didn't fully engage with the conflict until after Germany invaded France and reached the English channel.
